We are looking for 2 smiley, enthusiastic and hard working couples with a passion for skiing (or boarding) and the mountains!
We are a small (but expanding!) fun and friendly company based in the village of St Jean D’Aulps, around 10 minutes from Morzine, part of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area. Next season we will be running 3 chalets and we’re looking for 2 couples with a mature attitude who can help us to continue with our ongoing business success!
We and our clients expect a high standard of service and presentation in everything we do, from ensuring our minibuses are clean and tidy to serving a beautifully presented evening meal.
Applicants need to: be excellent team workers motivated to provide 1st class customer service; have worked in a customer facing role; possess a full clean driving licence; be confident in the kitchen; and be happy to complete a wide variety of tasks. We would like your menu ideas but you will not have to prepare a full menu plan, as we like to offer a consistent service across all our chalets.
The chalet host role involves looking after up to 12 guests each week (around 8-10 on average), ensuring that all their needs are met and they have a fantastic holiday! Main duties include: Preparing breakfast, cleaning the chalet each day, driving guests to and from the slopes, providing afternoon tea, cooking a 3 course evening meal on 6 nights, skiing and socialising with guests and undertaking airport transfers to and from Geneva. While this sounds a lot, if you are organised and motivated, you’ll still have plenty of time for fun on the slopes!
We are offering a competitive salary, plus benefits including a high standard of live-out accommodation, food whilst on duty, a full Portes du Soleil seasonal lift pass, 1 full day-off per week, insurance, uniform, transport to and from the UK to France and seasonal ski or board rental. As we are a registered French company, you will be fully enrolled in the social security system for the duration of your contract, ensuring you are properly covered for living in France.
Our overall aim is to work as a team to ensure that both guests and employees have a great winter season with lots of skiing and socialising!
