Welcome to Ski Academy Switzerland (SAS), provider of the most extensive and affordable Snowsport instructor and performance training programmes on the market. Our programmes are based in the middle of the Swiss Alps where we can offer high quality instructor and personal development programmes. We endeavour to find a balance between quality and cost so that we can provide a good learning environment at a cost that is achievable for as many people as possible.

SAS is the only official PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) training school in Europe which ensures that you will receive top quality tuition from experienced and modern thinking PSIA and BASI (British Association of Snowsport Instructors) coaches. SAS has worked hard  to receive recognition from USSA (United States Ski and Snowboard Association) and we are pleased to announce that we will be holding our first L100 race coaching courses during the winter 2008/9.

We have many close links with European and USA ski schools and we guarantee you ski instructor work after any of our programmes. Many of our ex-students are now using their newly acquired skills to enjoy a new lifestyle instructing in ski resorts all over the world!

Our courses run throughout the year from spring to winter and there are a large range of dates, the demand for SAS courses continue to grow. Therefore, it is important that you book on to courses as early as possible to avoid disappointment.We hope there is a course for you and we will try our best to accommodate your needs so please don't hesitate to contact us if you require additional information.

The Ski Training Programmes

Autumn Programmes
6 to 12 weeks of training and qualifications before the busy winter season. Completion of your BASI or PSIA instructor course will allow you to work for the 2008/9 season as a ski instructor in our partnered ski schools across Europe and USA.

Winter Programmes
The SAS winter programmes involves 11 weeks of training and qualifications during the winter season 2009. Completion of your BASI or PSIA instructor course will allow you to work as a ski instructor all over the world!

Spring and Summer Programmes
4 to 8 week course’s training and qualifying for the PSIA qualifications. Completion of your PSIA qualification will allow you to work for the following winter season.

Autumn BASI: 10 places/8 taken

Autumn PSIA: 10 places/8 taken

Winter PSIA: 18 places/8 taken

Winter ASSI: 6 places/3 taken

Winter BASI: 10 places/4 taken

Spring PSIA: 12 places/1 taken
