About Season Workers

Season Workers was created in 1999 and was properly established by 2002. The first version including a job search went online in 2003 and won its first major award in 2004. We want this site to be useful and enjoyable for everyone, whatever their age and whatever their situation.

Our team have decades of summer and ski seasons, English teaching and backpacking behind them. Additionally, the teams experience covers recruitment, and overseas personnel management. We certainly don’t pretend to know everything though, Season Workers is affiliated with several major tour operators, publications and writers, and the Commonwealth and Foreign Office. Our partners provide expert insight into their various specialist areas.

Season Workers Reunion
The idea of a ‘Friends Reunited’ for Season Workers is no longer a particularly new idea, but we felt that there was still a need for a simple to use website that catered for all types of working travel. The original golden rules regarding no rubbish pop ups, and not selling mailing lists still hold true (we will never sell or rent your details to a third party and you will never see an irrelevant advert on Season Workers.)

Finding Jobs, courses and placements
The 'Vacancy' section was always meant to be very functional and not cluttered with pointless profiling and irrelevant jobs. However, you could say that we overdid the functionality a bit at first and have made the site more friendly looking. There are now over 300 companies using Season Workers to advertise their opportunities, and this list is growing all the time.

Season Workers is committed to providing what you want – we guarantee that every suggestion received will be properly considered and replied to. There are loads of plans for the future but we are sure you will agree that Season Workers ‘Reunion’ and 'Vacancy' are a very good start.

What else do we do?

Season Workers is operated by Houdini Media Ltd which also runs these websites and publications:

Working Travel

Working Travel The Working Travel website is a powerful searchable database of working travel related opportunities. The companies at the top of the searches are those who have put the most effort into making their entry as relevant as possible to the term you entered in your search. It is utterly impartial and provides the content for the printed WT directory. The directory is also managed by human beings who control the quality of the content being submitted.
