Alpine Elements is a catered chalet company specializing in Alpine Activity Holidays throughout many exciting French resorts.  We are a young company, continually growing and determined to give our guests and staff a fantastic experience!    

We are looking for experienced chefs to join our team for the summer.As one of our hotel chefs your responsibilities will include preparing a hearty cooked breakfast and sweet treats of cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea.  In the evening you’ll need to prepare and present a top quality 3 course evening meal to complete your guest’s day!

All of our meals are prepared from scratch on site, using fresh ingredients.  You need natural flair and passion for food to adapt our menus for our younger guests and those with special dietary requirements.

Of course there is more to this position than cooking; you will manage all other aspects of the kitchen – but regardless of whether you’re in the kitchen creating a superb meal or socializing with the guests you will play a big part in ensuring that everyone has a terrific holiday!

Candidate Specification:

Applicants must hold an English NI number, a UK bank account and be able to work in France.  This position requires NVQ level 1 and 2 with a minimum of 1 year in the industry.  Alternatively if you have relevant experience in restaurants, pubs and hotels please apply.
