Building Society Customer Advisor

Our client, a well recognized and established Building Society is currently seeking a Full Time Customer Advisor to join their Burgess Hill Branch.

Working within a small team the main focus of the role will be the provision of a cashiering service and first class customer service to customers whilst ensuring that the full range of company products is being promoted.

The successful candidate will be expected to secure referrals for mortgage and insurance business as well as ‘up-selling’ on accounts and policies whilst achieving best practice and full industry compliance at all times.

A positive and business focused working relationship with colleagues is a prerequisite. Working with both new and existing customers candidates will need to be target focused in order to meet pre-determined KPI’s, will possess excellent attention to details and the ability to effectively build rapport, putting the customer at ease from the outset.

Due to the nature of our clients industry candidates wishing to be considered will be credit checked.

Hour of work are 09:00 – 17:00 M-F + Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00, on a rota (39 of 52 weekends). (35 hrs p/week).

Candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant customer service, upselling & cash handling experience.

Salary is £13,725 (review pending) + bonus OTE £15,500 + benefits.
